In the summer of 2025, Elbereth’s Grace entered a new creative phase. It was a time of experimentation, curiosity, and renewed momentum. Old paths were revisited, new ideas explored, and a broader vision began to take shape. Those early steps would later define much of what followed.

During this period, musical companions were brought together, and an intense creative workflow began to evolve. The goal was simple yet ambitious: to widen the musical spectrum and open the music to a broader audience, without losing its identity. Familiar songs were revisited, reshaped, and given new life. What emerged was a sound that grew richer and more diverse with each step, while remaining deeply rooted in its origins.

On October 17th, the album Steh auf was released. Originally intended as a trial and creative experiment, it quickly exceeded all expectations. The response was overwhelmingly positive and marked a turning point. Encouraged by this momentum, the work continued without pause. New ideas formed, strong pre-productions took shape, and songs emerged in a way that had not been possible before.

Each member brought their own voice into the process. The band’s singer contributed not only vocal strength but a wealth of ideas that naturally found their place within the songs. Matti added modern textures and powerful guitar work, shaping the sound with confidence and clarity. Eero introduced keyboard-driven ideas that expanded the musical landscape even further. Together, this collaboration led to a growing collection of songs, each with its own character and emotional depth.

The first single to emerge from this phase was Rise!, released on December 5th, 2025. It marked the beginning of a new chapter. Shortly after, Lead Us Home followed as the second single. It stands as one of the calmest and most intimate songs in the project’s history, built on a musical foundation laid by the band’s singer and carefully brought to life as a restrained, emotional ballad.

This period laid the groundwork for everything that followed – musically, creatively, and as a band. Elbereth’s Grace continues to move forward with openness, curiosity, and a deep love for storytelling through music.

The year 2026 has only just begun, and we are already bringing you our first album, Where Silence Speaks—the first truly new album with ten brand-new songs. Ten songs deeply rooted in the world of Nyrassar. Middle-earth may take a bit of a back seat here, but the parallels remain strong.

If you’d like to learn more about Where Silence Speaks, we’ve created a release page for the first time, where we introduce all the songs to you in more detail. If you have any further questions, feel free to write to us.

Musically, Where Silence Speaks is very diverse and draws from many metal genres. Yet all of it comes together in a natural and fitting symbiosis, shaped by both traditional songwriting and an open-minded approach to modern creative tools. It should therefore appeal to a broad audience, which would of course make us very happy.

The year 2026 will remain exciting, as lots of new music is already in the making. An acoustic album will also be released soon, featuring songs that came together almost by chance and have now been carefully arranged and paired with epic lyrics to create something truly special.

And for everyone who enjoys the heavier tracks, you won’t be left empty-handed either—new songs are currently in the works, including plenty of hard-hitting numbers full of power and drive. You can be sure that more music is on the way, so be sure to check back from time to time.

With 'Weaver Of Fate,' we’ve released a single that is musically unlike anything we’ve put out in the last 26 years. 'Weaver Of Fate' is a purely acoustic track with a fantastic drive—one that will pull even the darkest metalhead off the couch and have them dancing through their living room with a smile.

More acoustic songs are set to follow in late January as part of our special EP, 'The Acoustic Sisterhood of Unbound Chords.' All the tracks on this EP came about almost by accident during our rehearsals over the past 12 months. We never actually planned to make an acoustic album, but while jamming around, such fun and beautiful things emerged that we simply had to record them.

The lyrics on the EP follow a minor 'concept of the gods,' but you’ll find a more detailed description of that with the release itself. And the excitement doesn't stop there: another thematic EP is already in the starting blocks. Nothing acoustic this time—no, this one is the heavy variety.

ELBERETH'S GRACE
A NEW DAWN RISES...

The vision of Elbereth's Grace was born in the year 2024, when the growing realization dawned upon me that my musical aspirations and creative inclinations no longer aligned fully with the path of Black Jade or the expectations of its devoted fans. Yet, I knew with unwavering certainty that neither could be neglected, for both are integral to my journey as an artist.

Thus, I created a sanctuary, a new home for the gentler songs of my heart—Elbereth's Grace. It is here that all future melodies of a softer nature shall reside, songs unburdened by growls yet rich in emotion and depth. This is a place where serenity meets creativity, a realm where music is allowed to breathe and unfold in its purest form.

The first album, Swansongs, serves as a harbinger of what is to come, offering a glimpse into the musical soul of Elbereth's Grace and the path it shall tread. These are songs crafted with care, weaving tales of introspection and beauty that resonate deeply with the heart. So, join me on this journey! Together, we shall explore this new chapter, and I look forward to sharing it with all who choose to listen.
